Theater Group Dender
Theater group Dender is making cartoon-theater, a mix of physical theater, live sketching and live music. It’s like a comic-book coming to life for your very eyes. With a pile of white paper and a few black markers, Dender creates their own visual world, sketching all attributes and decor lightning fast. Together with live music and sound effects the visual story is forming into a smashing performance.
Jasper van der Heijden, Ronald Wolthuis and Thanos Fotiadis are theater groep Dender. They are taking familiar situations and magnify them into absurd proportions, taking the public to a journey of wonder. Because of the nature of physical theater and the minimum words being used, the shows are suitable for everyone from 4 years old.
Dender shows are to be seen in festivals, school and of course the theater.
