Electronic Music Composition

Thanos is using his birth name for his very personal electronic music compositions. Since the completion of an intensive 2-year study in 2019, he has released 7 (seven) albums of electronic compositions: “Five Nocturnes For Immersion” (October 2019/with a poem written for each track), “Five Triptychs For Upheaval” (June 2020/released by the experimental Polish label Plaza Zachodnia), one EP of live piano music processed through his electronic modular system: “Instrument Of Hope” (March 2020), "Selected Modular Works, vol.1” which is a collection of unreleased material and the best way to get familiar with his work (December 2020), “Serge Feedback Systems” is the most demanding listen working with voltage feedback systems, a fascinating new research on the inner workings of electronic instruments (March 2021), “The Spiral Snake”, released by the 1tracktape label for its renowned New Moon Series (July 2021) and his latest album “The Light Ark”, made with an extremely minimal analogue system (October 2021), an album endorsed by Make Noise, one of the most forward-thinking electronic music instrument manufacturers of our times . His plans are to release two more albums in 2022. He’s also currently working on his full length debut album with live classical piano compositions, live electronics and visuals. As a composer his main focus is on the following concepts/fields:
- The connection between nature and technology in electronic feedback systems,
- Found/acousmatic sounds,
- Immersive, meditative audio environments,
- Resonances,
- Granular synthesis: focus on microsound
